All our therapists are properly trained and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health Professions Council. They have all been DBS checked and hold upto date DBS certificates.

1981-1982 (2 yrs) : Rotational Post at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital

1982- 1985 (3 yrs): Senior Post at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital

1985 - 1987 (2 yrs): Senior Post Princess Margaret's Children's Hospital, Perth, Western Australia

1987-1988 (1 yr): Senior Post Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital

1988 - present : independent physiotherapist


Independent Experience includes:


  • SCOPE Multi-disciplinary Assessment Service for 13 years
  • accompanying  a 24 year old adult with dystonia, as her personal physiotherapist, on a 10 week tour overseas 
  • working with an infant with dystonic cerebral palsy in Greece
  • working with a child with motor delay on a five month tour overseas
  • supporting a child with specific learning difficulties 2 x 2 weeks stints at The American Embassy School in New Delhi, India
  • providing training to physiotherapy graduates in Mumbai, India
  • Therapy & Rehabilitation Tours to India and Cuba
  • 13 x week training courses "How Physiotherapy helpd children with DCD function better"


Current Caseload:


During Term we provide physiotherapy to the following service users:

  • A Free School for students with  learning and profound motor learning difficulties
  • Independent special school for students with specific learning difficulties including dyslexia and dyspraxia
  • Local Authorities who contract us to provide physiotherapy for their clients with EHCP's. 
  • Self funding clients

In school holidays we:

  • Carry out assessments and reviews
  • Offer intensive courses of physiotherapy
  • Run handwriting classes

Occasional Work:

  • Training professionals (post graduate physiotherapists & teachers)
  • Inservice training for teachers and classroom support staff


Sally is a member of BABTT (British Association of Bobath Trained Therapists); APCP (Association of Paediatric Chartered Physiotherapists), OCPPP (Organisation of Chartered Physiotherrapists in Private Practice) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). 


Sally has attended many courses of relevance to her practice, including:

  • Sensory Integration Part 1 and 2 
  • Cognitive Neuropsychology 
  • MORE (oral motor course) 
  • Listening with Whole Body

  • Integrating Neuro-developmental therapy with Sensory Integration 
  • Kinesiology Taping 
  • Fuerstein - 3 x day courses 
  • Bowen training (up to Part 3) 
  • Advanced Upper Limb at Bobath Centre 

All therapists regularly attend inservice training and evening lectures.


Since 2009 Sally has offered a junior training post within the practice for physiotherapists seeking to extend their clinical skills in paediatrics. Most of these trainees now hold senior physiotherapy positions within the NHS.
